Review: The New Rulers of the World

The New Rulers of the World The New Rulers of the World by John Pilger
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

We have 50 per cent of the world’s wealth but only 6.3 percent of its population. In this situation, our real job in the coming period . . . is to maintain this position of disparity. To do so, we have to dispense with all sentimentality . . . we should cease thinking about human rights, the raising of living standards and democratization - George Kennan, US strategic planner, 1948.
The lines from page 117 are most crucial lines and it answers all the questions people are asking from America. Why they are ruining country by country. And making this world disease center of the universe. The are ruining country because of wealth and power. That is a shame that they are killing in the name tag of human rights and humanity. Oil and Gas are the most important thing america want from other world other than strategic power all over the world. They are killing there own people for the protection of there businesses. World is full of diseases because of the capitalistic and industrial genocide done by Americans, British and its ally. The British played equal role in all this genocidal activities. The fake wars and sanctions by UN or US are killing people all over the world. War is business for them now. This is what say in whole. The author has great potential of truth telling and he is also authority from people can get real and true information. His work itself is the achievement in the world like this where corporate runs the Government and dissent will be killed or suppressed at earliest possible opportunity. The author has done remarkable job while writing book like this in which every product is democratically censored including heart and soul of the person. All three essays on the world politics gives you a real insight of what really going on in this shining world of democracy.
The forth essay on Australia aborigines is, one of the finest piece of critical research on the most ignored people on the planet earth. It is not a essay of historic account but situation of the aborigines in present world. It is an analysis of their life and condition of life and detail account of treatment by government and racial discrimination. After watching the Movie called 'Utopia' by Pilger sir itself I came to know that Australia also one of the country, who had a history of racial discrimination and violence against aborigines just like America and Canada etc. The essay will give you analytical insight of what is happening in Australia besides white glamorous society, life and their richness.
Over all book is worthy of reading. Instead of newspapers, people should read reports, essays and books of the the John pilger. A year of newspaper and one book of john Pilger has equal truth in it. May be I am over subscribing John Pilger by saying this but in current situation newspapers have nothing truth in it. So by this way John Pilger actually far better than a year of newspaper reports on world politics. You should read this book with passion. I highly recommend it. I end my blog with one of the quote from the book I liked - 'The Time has come when silence is betrayal', said Martin Luther King. 'That time is now'.
